Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Body Report collects and why. In short: the free tools run in your browser and do not upload photos; we collect the minimum needed to run accounts, payments and reports; and you can delete your data at any time.

1. Free tools and photos

For free photo tools, your image is processed inside your browser by a pose-detection model. The photo is not sent to our servers. Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you choose to create an account, buy a report or use an AI feature.

2. Paid reports

When you buy the Body Report we store the photos you submit (re-encoded to strip camera metadata such as location), the measurement points, your basic details (sex, age, height, weight, activity, goal, tape measurements) and the resulting report. These are used only to generate and show your report. We do not use your photos to train models. Reports and photos are deleted automatically after 12 months, or immediately when you delete them.

3. AI features

If you use an AI preview or the AI-written coaching notes, the relevant photo and/or measurements are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic or Google, depending on configuration) to generate the result. Providers process the data under their API terms. Generated files are stored for up to 30 days and removed on request.

4. Accounts and payments

If you create an account we store your email, name, a salted hash of your password, your credit balance and your order history. Payments are processed by Stripe (cards) and PayPal; we receive confirmation of payment and your email but never your card number or PayPal login.

5. Analytics

We measure traffic with a first-party, cookieless system: page views and events (for example, that a tool was completed) with a daily-rotating anonymous visitor hash, country, device and referrer. We do not store your IP address in a way that can identify you across days, and we do not track individuals across sites. If Google Analytics or advertising is enabled by the site owner, those providers may set their own cookies under their own policies.

6. Cookies

We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking.

7. Email

We email you order confirmations and report links. Marketing email is sent only if you opt in or join the newsletter, and every message can be unsubscribed from.

8. Your rights

You can delete a single report, or your whole account with all photos, reports and AI files, at Delete my data. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your information via the contact page. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA) you may have additional rights, which we will honour.

9. Age

This service is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not upload photos of anyone else without their consent, and never of a minor.
